the daily grind

वो हहहहः सो, इ'म व्रितिंग इन इंग्लिश, but it's translating it into hindi. how ridiculous is that!! i must have accidentally changed some setting.

I like it.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I always have an hour break between classes, around 10:15-11:15am. Normally I either go home or stay at school and do homework. But on Wednesday of this past week I decided to go to Jimary Java. I texted Grace to see if she was working, and she was not, in fact, they were not opened at all. ... ... So I thought I might try Starbucks, but I knew they didn't have wireless. Then, an idea popped into my head. That coffeeshop behind the hospital. I had driven by there before, but they had always been closed. But Wednesday they were open! Hurrah! And it was really nice. Small, but nice. They bake their own bread, slice their own meat, make their own whip cream for drinks (white chocolate!), fry their own chips, etc... Justin met me up there and we had an early lunch. It was really nice. I will definitely go again. They even had wireless! The only downside is their hours-- I think she said 7am-5pm, or somewhere around there. And not open on weekends. But the food was really good-- nice for lunch.

...which brings me to my next topic. I love baking. I don't know what it is... but it's almost theraputic. Even if I don't eat the things I make, it's just fun. I really want to open a bakery. One day I will. :)

I've heard about the daily grind before, but I never think about going. I hear they have really good doughnuts.... mmmmmmm.

They used to make homemade donuts at like 5 in the morning, and if you drove by there you could smell them cooking. They would give them away for free to hook you into buying a bunch of them.

Yeah. They don't make them anymore. Even though I hassle them every time I go in there to start making them again.

They are really nice and used to feed us like twice a week for free. You should keep going there. : )

I'm with you on the topic of baking.

I want a bakery like that of the one depicted in Stranger than Fiction.
