People come, people go.

The strangeness of life is astounding at times. Certain aspects of it, at least. Some people live such charmed lives, while others live out routine/schedule with every day exactly the same as the last. The difference between the lives of young couples with children and those without (I really shouldn't think too much about it...)... it's so interesting. The way time is spent. Some things exactly the same, some things completely different.

"Slide your way to slumber "In the third trimester, turning over in bed is a nightmare. The solution? Big satin pajamas and even satin sheets — the slipperiness of satin helps tremendously!" — Carrie" (BabyCenter - Wk34)
That sounds horrible. How in the world would anyone get comfortable in satin pajamas and sheets! AGH! I cringe at the thought, even though turning over in bed is getting quite difficult. It's hard to imagine that I'll actually get bigger (and I definitely will). 6-ish weeks to go!

New music discovered (thanks, Leah!): Mumford & Sons (yes, not new  to most, I know... but I've never personally listened to them). Album- Sigh No More. Song- The Cave (though all are really good).

Favorite punctuation for the day: (parentheses)

*** Following portion is from a few days ago that I never posted. It's fairly insignificant. Very self-focused. But so is most of what I write...***

I've decided I need a hobby. Not because I have all this spare time and need it filled with extra activities, oh no. I have very little spare time. But I want a hobby. I have many things I want to do, and would enjoy doing, but no commitment to any of them. Nothing gets started or completed. If anyone has ever asked me what my hobbies are, first I hesitate... then say "hmmm".... then say "I like to read".... which is true. But that is such a generic hobby, not a real hobby. Everyone reads. Well, most people read. Furthermore, I'd like for my children to enjoy doing interesting/crafty/etc. things, and they may not learn to enjoy such things if not exposed.

I have many ideas for hobbies. And it is difficult to nail down just one. Most of the time I just think about all the things I could do, I look for books about different topics that would help me get started, and by then end of it, my time has disappeared. There's photography, painting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking, gardening, and so much more. But I need to pick one. Just one. Just to have an official hobby. Not saying I won't do the other things, I will always bake. And I'd still like to have a garden. And maybe, occasionally, I'll start knitting a scarf that will never be finished.

But I'd like to be a seamstress. So there. Official hobby. Goal for year: sew something. Anything.
