Part of what I like about being crafty (which I'm not, but what I like about the *thought* of being crafty...) is to give old things new life. I like the idea of making bags out of t-shirts, play kitchens out of cardboard boxes, new crayons out of broken crayons, etc... I like the idea of wasting as little as possible. I'm not very good at that, but I still like it and want to be good at it.
Therefore, I'm giving this "blog" a new purpose. It's become old and probably fairly boring/mundane... and not that it will get much more exciting for the readers, but I think I will enjoy writing more if there is some new reason for doing so. The new purpose is to disclose findings and discoveries. I will still probably write about general life occurrences or whatever I feel like writing, but at least once per post I have to include something new that I have found- whatever that may be. An idea, photo, recipe, article, website, invention, whatever.
That being said, my discovery for today is...
A CD full of old pictures. I found it last night and it was full of funny family photos that I had sent to Steven back when he was in the Philippines. I will share my favorite:
(that is baby Elsie, only a few days old, middle of the night, supposed to be sleeping, but instead gazing intently at Uncle Josh and Caleb) :)

i think it would be nice to have a topic, myself... it's nice that "discoveries" are nice and broad. lots of possibilities.
