Lavender

I actually accomplished some of what I wrote on my list on Tuesday...
Ok, I take that back, I did one thing from my list: I went to the Y and ran (Thank you, Justin, for providing the opportunity). And today I went to the grocery store! It went surprisingly well, considering I was by myself with all three, and despite the busted lip, blood, screams, and Marlene falling from her car seat. Really, it sounds much worse than it actually was...right?... at least I was able to stay calm through it all. And everyone is alive.

One tiny lavender seedling has sprouted! It made me so happy when I saw it today. And some of the basil is growing... but nothing else. Something is better than nothing. Keeping a positive outlook.

Today has been very good. Much better than yesterday. I'm excited about the possibilities that the rest of the day holds-- Mill House tonight? The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassas? Fun.
