the best things in life are free

Usually Justin is the one finding interesting websites. But today I found one: Pandora Radio. And, best of all, it's free! You can type in an artist that you like, and it will play similar music. So far I've enjoyed it a lot, but it tends to stop playing after a while and then I have to find another station.

Another thing that has made me happy is that I have reached two of my subgoals. 1) I have reached my pre-elsie-pregnancy weight, and 2) I can fit into a skirt that I told Justin last year was my goal to be able to fit into again (that sentence doesn't make sense... oh well). Besides that, I have pulled out a bunch of jeans that I can now fit into. Hurrah! (to go along with the "best things in life are free statement"-- old clothes that haven't been worn in over two years and now are starting to fit again = free = great!)

Third really wonderful thing for the day: As I was ripping up junk mail today, I came across a piece of mail from Bank of America. I looked at it for a moment before I decided it was only a bank statement and proceeded to rip it in half (we do all of our banking online, so we don't keep paper statements). I glanced at one of the halves and noticed something that looked very check-like. And it was! We got back $260-something from our mortgage payments. And yes, it's very bad that I ripped it in half, but I taped it back together and hopefully the bank will accept it.

The only bad thing about today is that I have a presentation this afternoon. I hate (HATE!) class presentations. But I'll have a partner (better/worse?) and it *only* has to be about 10 minutes.

*several hours later*
it's 9.43pm. presentation was fine. now i'm working on a topic paper for management 301. good luck me.

Good job! Isn't it a great feeling to find clothing that you already had but forgot about (or couldn't wear)? I love that feeling.
